Davis Pair Case Watch with William Adams Watch Paper, No. 3055, Boston, c. 1800, the outer case with printed watch paper marked William Adams, Watch and Clock Maker, Opposite Old South, Boston, opens to the cream-colored Roman numeral dial and brass hands, full plate movement engraved T. A. Davis, Boston, No. 3055, full plate, fusee verge-escapement, key-wind movement with pierced balance cock, steel balance and pointer regulation dial, dia. 50 mm.
