Twelve-inch 22kt Gold and Bone Ruler, July 16th, 1849, possibly for the Great Exhibition or the Crystal Palace Exhibition, England, 1851, the 22kt gold embossed frieze depicting a procession of Greek Gods, framed by bone with beveled edge quarter and sixteenth inch measurement markings, British registry mark at one end and an unidentified hallmark on other, housed in a velvet-lined fitted case.
