U.S. Springfield Model 1922, c. 1925, serial number 289, walnut stock marked M2 under the pistol grip, and stamped D28225, bolt marked M2, and receiver marked U.S./SPRINGFIELD/ARMORY/MODEL OF 1922/CAL. .22/289, barrel marked with an ordnance bomb and SA/12-25, overall lg. 43 1/2 in.

Some dings and nicks in the stock, some very light rust on the Lyman sight, and what looks to be arsenal-filled holes on the left side of the receiver.
