Model 1884 Trapdoor Springfield Rifle with Bayonet and Scabbard, c. 1886-91, walnut stock with very light cartouche, blued-steel parts, lockplate marked with an eagle and U.S./SPRINGFIELD, serial number marked near breech 213763, marked on front of trapdoor U.S/MODEL/1884, bayonet has blued steel blade marked U.S., barrel lg. 32 5/8, overall lg. 51 3/4, overall bayonet lg. 22 1/4 in.

Light dings in stock, very light rust on a few of the steel parts, blueing still bright on most of the parts.
