Allin Conversion Cadet Model 1866 Trapdoor Springfield, c. 1866, walnut stock with no visible cartouche marks, steel fittings, tail of the lockplate dated 1863, marked in front of the hammer with an eagle and U.S./NORFOLK, top of breechblock marked 1866 over an eagle, barrel lg. 26 3/4, overall lg. 46 in.

Provenance: From the collection of the late Peter F. Frazier and M. Prudence Fleck.
