Model 1866 Allin Conversion Trapdoor Springfield, c. 1866, walnut stock with light cartouche on left side, and circle P stamp below triggerguard, steel lockplate marked with eagle and U.S./SPRINGFIELD, and dated 1865, trapdoor marked with 1866 over and eagle, buttplate marked U.S. and D/27, barrel lg. 40, overall lg. 55 3/4 in.
Estimate $500-700

Stock has some dings and wood loss behind upper barrel band, steel parts are a dark plum color with some light rust on the left side of the barrel.
