Model 1840 Hall Type II Percussion Carbine, c. 1841, walnut stock with steel fittings, breechblock marked U.S./S.NORTH/MIDLTN/CONN/1841, sling swivel attached at the base of the triggerguard, fishtail-type operating lever, barrel lg. 21, overall lg. 40 in.
