Spencer Repeating Carbine, c. 1863-65, walnut stock and handguard with cartouche on left side, serial number 20394, steel barrel, saddlebar and fittings, marked on top of receiver SPENCER REPEATING/RIFLE CO. BOSTON, MASS./PAT'D MARCH 6, 1860, barrel lg. 22, overall lg. 39 in.
Estimate $1,200-1,400

Walnut stock has some light dings and a few scrapes on forend, very little finish on steel remains.
