Model 1816 Flintlock Musket, c. 1839, walnut stock with a cartouche on the left side, tail of the lockplate marked SPRING/FIELD/1829, and marked with an eagle over US in front of the hammer, breech dated 1834, and marked US/AH/P, barrel lg. 42 1/8, overall lg. 57 1/2 in.

Some dings and nicks in the stock and a chip just behind the lockplate, hammer doesnt stop at half-cock, steel parts have light patina appropriate to their age.
