Description:

1872 Pattern Officer's Frock Coat and Trousers, c. late 19th century, blue broadcloth double-breasted frock coat with Massachusetts buttons, three gold metallic loops on each cuff, 1872 shoulder knots with major's insignia and MD, and a pair of sky blue broadcloth trousers.

Provenance: From the collection of the late Peter F. Frazier and M. Prudence Fleck.

Coat in good condition with minor soiling inside neck from use, trousers have some soiling and a few repairs.
