Louisiana Confederate Belt Plate, c. 1861-65, lead-filled brass rectangular belt plate with pelican surrounded by stars and a wreath, back has two bent brass hooks on one side, and one on the other, ht. 2 1/8, wd. 3 1/8 in.
Estimate $1,000-1,200

Plate has light patina and is in very good condition.
