Identified Cartridge Box, Waistbelt, Bayonet, and Scabbard, c. 1862-65, leather cartridge box with lead-filled brass plate marked US, maker's mark on the side of the box C.S. STORMS/MAKER N.Y., waistbelt has lead-filled brass plate marked US, with keeper removed, steel Springfield Bayonet marked US on the blade, and a leather bayonet scabbard with copper rivets, and no discernable makers markings.
Note: There is a note with this lot that states that these items were owned by Jacob H. Klugh, a member of the 122nd Pennsylvania Infantry, as well as the 3rd Pennsylvania Heavy Artillery.
