Description:

McDowell-style Federal Forage Cap, c. 1861-65, blue broadcloth body with reed welt around the base of the cap, turned black cross-hatched sweatband, black silk padded liner with quilted crown marked SULLENDER/&/PASCAL/6 S. 6th. St., black crescent-shaped visor, black chinstrap with brass buckle and general staff buttons.

A few moth holes on body and on the reed welt around the crown, overall in good condition.
