Model 1881-style New York Cavalry Helmet, Cap Plates, Cords, and Patches, c. late 19th century, a Model 1881-style cavalry helmet with New York plate on the front and gold cording, an officer's waistbelt, a group of chevrons, hat cords, bugle cords, and a partial officer's sash.

Provenance: From the collection of the late Peter F. Frazier and M. Prudence Fleck.

A few moth nips in the wool pieces, and one tastle on the officers sash is missing.
