Model 1852 Naval Officer's Sword and Scabbard, c. late 19th century, brass hilt with foliate designs, a dolphins head, and USN, blade marked on ricasso with HORSTMANN/& SONS/PHILADELPHIA, blade engraved with anchor, shield, and foliate designs, leather scabbard with brass fittings, blade lg. 27 3/4, overall lg. 34 in.

Provenance: From the collection of the late Peter F. Frazier and M. Prudence Fleck.

Some scattered spotting on the blade, and a few dings on the scabbard drag.
