Two Model 1833 Foot Artillery Swords, c. 1844, brass hilt and grip with an eagle on the pommel, both marked W.A.T. on one side of the cross guard and J.H. on the other, both steel blades marked U.S/1844/JH, and on the opposite side, an eagle above N.P. AMES/SPRINGFIELD, blade lg. 19, overall lg. 25 1/4 in.

Hilts have a few dings and some patina appropriate to their age, blades have a few dark spots and some pitting.
