Simon & Halbig 1299 Bisque Head Doll, Germany, back of head incised "S&H 1299/8 1/2," with sleeping brown eyes, parted lips with two inset upper teeth, brown curly mohair wig, fully articulated composition body, floral decorated cotton dress with maroon ribbon sash, white cotton undergarments, and red and white striped stockings with brown leatherette shoes, ht. 21 in.

Scratches and wear to bisque head. Paint loss to arms and legs with in-painting evident at joints. Composition joints loose. Overall sound condition.
Hair glued down, head good condition overall, minor scuffing to cheek. Repairs to left hand.
