Ball, Black & Co. Egyptian Revival Sterling Silver Covered Tureen, New York, c. 1865, probably John Wendt, dome-top lid mounted with a winged female figure, tureen with two hinged, triangular handles, a central engraved armorial, and an inset sterling silver liner, raised on a short stem with a stepped oval foot, ht. 13 1/2 in., approx. 101.4 troy oz.
