Louis XV-style Ormolu-mounted and Kingwood-veneered Bureau Plat, late 19th century, leather inset top with three marquetry-inlaid frieze drawers to either side, raised on four ormolu-mounted cabriole legs, ht. 31, wd. 78, dp. 39 1/2 in.

Scattered veneer chips, cracks and losses, some areas with crude overpainting to damaged areas. Scattered spots of verdigris to mounts. Minor repairs to some cracks along drawer joints. Writing surface with minor usage wear abrasions, one area particularly worn with loss to tooled and gilded edge and a light spot. Several mounts to loose and lifting from case.
