Pair of Figural Gilt-bronze Candlesticks, Continental, probably France, mid-19th century, each cast as a festooned sconce issuing from a foliate bow held by a putto balancing on one foot atop a sphere resting on a draped base, further attached to a beaded base with applied grapevines to front, on four feet, unmarked, ht. 8 in.

Bobeches replaced. Beaded bases may be later additions. Scattered verdigris and imperfections to gilding.
