George II Sterling Silver Salver, London, 1756-57, William & Robert Peaston, maker, with a shell and scroll rim and engraved armorial to center, raised on three spade feet, dia. 11 in., approx. 20.5 troy oz.

Several repairs with solder marks and examples of metal fatigue to rim. Feet possibly later or replaced. Salver with uneven shape (if legs were removed it would not sit flat). Surface abrasions and usage wear. Armorial appears to be original.
