Theorem of Fruit on a Marble Plinth. Unsigned. Paint on velvet, 10 1/4 x 11 1/2 in., in a period black-painted and gilt-gessoed wood frame. Condition: Toning, fabric slightly rippled.

Provenance: Retains a 1943 paper label from the American Folk Art Gallery, New York reporting the work was found in Rockland , Maine.
