Theorem of Fruit in Glass Bowl. Unsigned. Paint on velvet, 21 x 16 3/4 in., in a period molded giltwood frame. Condition: Light toning, otherwise good.
Provenance: Retains a paper label from the American Folk Art Gallery, New York, dated 1941, in which it is noted "Considered the finest example in this medium."
