Framed Calligraphic Valentine and Two Quarter-plate Daguerreotype Portraits, ink and watercolor on paper valentine with an intricate calligraphic design surrounding a verse, inscribed "To Aunt Caroline...Valentine's Day 1847...Charlie F.," (minor creases, not examined out of frame),sight size 5 1/4 x 5 1/2 in., in a molded mahogany frame with gilt liner; together with two quarterplate daguerreotype portraits: one depicting three children, (minor tarnish),and one of a young bearded gentleman, (tarnish around edges),in pressed paper cases.
