Two Historical Transfer-decorated Staffordshire Landing of LaFayette Dinner Plates, James and Ralph Clews, Cobridge, England, 1819-36, each titled below scene "Landing of Gen. LaFayette at Castle Garden in New York, 16 August, 1824," with impressed maker's mark on base, dia. 10 1/8 in.

One with mottled staining on the bottom, otherwise both in good condition very minor wear, no chips, cracks, or repairs.
