Two Historical Blue Transfer-decorated Staffordshire Pottery Dinner Plates, Enoch Wood & Sons, Burslem, England, early 19th century, one depicting THE LANDING OF THE FATHERS AT PLYMOUTH DEC 22 1620, with printed inscription between border and center view, the names Carver, Bradford, Winslow, Brewster, & Standish inscribed at c.r. of scene, the words AMERICA INDEPENDENT/JULY 4 1776 and WASHINGTON BORN 1732 DIED 1799 inscribed on border cartouches, with printed maker's mark, the other depicting the Boston State House, (with chaise),with floral border, dia. 10 in.
