Description:

Sixth-plate Ambrotype Portrait of a Soldier in a Militia Uniform, the soldier seated in a chair with one arm on a table on which his shako rests, the crown of the hat centered with a badge with the number "1," an inscription on the paper lining the case is inscribed "Rutland, VT Militia man/ex-Bill Schultz coll.," mounted in a pressed-paper/leather case.
