Joseph Johnson Gold Open Face Watch, Liverpool, c. 1850, the engine-turned dial with raised Roman numerals, movement inscribed Jos. Johnson, 25 Church Street, Liverpool, No. 11990, patent lever escapement with "Liverpool shades" and balance cock inscribed Patent, 50 mm.

second's hand and crystal now gone, movement no longer pinned in the case, dial badly discolored, broken pivot on third wheel. Case is 18kt gold.
