Attributed to Francis Luis Mora (American, 1874-1940)

Garden Party, alternatively titled Mrs. Mora, Daughter Rosemary, and Friend
Unsigned, titled and dated "Garden Party 1907" on a presentation plaque, titled
and dated "Mrs. Mora, daughter Rosemary, and Friend, circa 1917" on an old label affixed to the frame backing.
Watercolor and graphite on paper, 14 x 20 in. (35.4 x 50.5 cm), framed.
Condition: Minor soiling to the reverse.

Provenance: Purchased from Schweitzer Gallery, New York, by the current owner.

N.B. If the watercolor does depict the artist's daughter Rosemary, it must date from within a year or two after her birth in the summer of 1918.
Estimate $2,500-3,500

Inscribed "5859/Schweitzer" in pencil on the reverse.
