Fine craquelure to u.l. corner. Work seems to have been partially cleaned in a band across the sky. There appears to be some minimal old retouch in the sky beneath the varnish layer, with some broad washes of retouch to the sky (perhaps to cover craquelure). There is a yellowish cast to the surface in the upper section of the sky and to the area just around the mountain top, which appear to be areas of discolored varnish. When examined under UV light, there is no bright paint fluorescence that would indicate any recent retouch. Surface grime, with a drip of foreign matter to l.r. The painting would benefit from a cleaning.
