Great Horned Owl, 2000, edition of 17 (Carpenter, 142). Numbered, signed, and dated "17/17 Jim Dine 2000" in pencil l.l. Color etching with photogravure, drypoint and power-tool abrading on paper, plate size 29 5/8 x 21 7/8 in. (75.1 x 55.5 cm),framed.
Condition: Not examined out of frame.

Provenance: From the family of Robert Bradford Newman (1917-1983),professor of architectural acoustics at Massachusetts Institute of Technology School of Architecture and the Harvard Graduate School of Design, and co-founder of Bolt, Beranek and Newman Inc., Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Sheet size 37 x 28 1/8 in.; deckled edges; two minor handling crimps at l.r. edge and l.r. corner. No additional condition to report.
