Group of Nineteen Tattoo Photographs: Includes several examples of tribal tattoos from the early 20th century, a photograph of a man being tattooed before a stage curtain backdrop, a portrait of an unidentified woman and two portraits of Tom Stephen, both tattooed by Bert Grimm, St. Louis, 1950s, seven photographs of tattooed women, including one with tattoo in process, late 1950s/early 1960s, and six photographs of tattooed men, c. 1940s/1950s. Gelatin silver prints, image sizes to 6 1/4 x 4 1/2 in. (15.9 x 11.5 cm),in simple clip frames.
Condition: Fading, discoloration, chips and losses, cellophane tape remnants and residue.
