Marquetry and Mother-of-pearl-inlaid Tantalus, Continental, 19th century, with serpentine front, veneered with ebony, satinwood, kingwood, and bird's-eye maple in a foliate motif, on shaped feet, enclosing a gilt-metal stand holding four decanters and sixteen cordials, all of colorless glass with gilding, ht. 10 3/4, wd. 13 1/2, dp. 10 7/8 in.
