Two Portuguese Silver Salvers, Oporto, 1843-53, both with slightly everted and pierced rims, engraved foliate designs, and cast paw feet, one circular, maker's mark "HIS," the rim with scrolling acanthus leaves and flowerheads, dia. 12 7/8; the other oval, lacking maker's mark, the rim with bunches of grapes and grape leaves, lg. 14 1/2 in., approx. 75.7 total troy oz.
