Italian School, 16th Century Style, Figure Group, inscribed "Andrea/del Sarto" in pencil on the reverse and with a collector's mark "SCIPIO" within an oval (for H.S. Reitlinger [1882-1950], charcoal and ink wash on paper, with an ink sketch of a hill town on the reverse, 7 1/4 x 5 1/4 in.; Italian School, 18th Century, Nude Male (Kneeling Soldier with Left Arm Extended with Sword and Suggestion of a Helmet), unsigned, embossed "T.L" l.l. (for Collection of Sir Thomas Lawrence),reverse with standing male nude, conte and charcoal on paper, 16 5/8 x 10 in.; Italian School, 17th/18th Century, Seated Male Nude with Left Arm Extended, unsigned, identified in an inscription on the front of the mat, inscribed "No. 39" in ink u.l., conte crayon on paper, 14 7/8 x 10 in.; and French School, 19th Century, Diana (Standing Nude with Bow), monogram at l.r., charcoal on paper, 18 1/4 x 11 3/4 in., purchased at C. Powney, London, 1965. Condition: All with handling creases, soiling, wear to edges.
