English Silver-hilt Small Sword, c. 1685, silver pommel with figural designs and a light hallmark, which looks like an HH with a crown above, silver knuckle bow with a repair, silver wire wrapped grip, silver counter-guard with figural and foliate designs, as well as hallmarks of a lion, lions head, an HH with crown, and a 1685 date mark, steel triangular blade has gold foliate designs, blade lg. 30, overall lg. 35 3/4 in.

Silver-hilt and steel blade have dark patina, two possibly period repairs to the knuckle bow, blade was probably replaced in the 18th century.
