Horner, movement manufactured by Waltham Clock Company with Walter Durfee tubular bells, retailed by Tiffany & Co., New York, c. 1890, quarter-sawn oak case, pierced carved griffin crest, Father Time hood columns flanking the composite brass dial marked Tiffany & Co., New York, with silvered chapter ring, applied gilt Arabic numerals, subsidiary seconds, strike/silent and chime selector dials, moon's age in arch, maidens flanking the beveled glass glazed waist door, nine tubular bells marked Walter Durfee Co. PROV. R.I., eight-day time, strike, and dual chime movement (Westminster/Whittington) marked Waltham Clock Co., silvered beat scale, temperature compensating pendulum and three brass-cased weights, ht. 112 in.
