Horner, movement manufactured in Germany by Elite, retailed by Tiffany & Co., New York, c. 1890, quarter-sawn oak case, pierced carved maiden crest, griffins flanking the composite brass dial with silvered chapter ring, applied Arabic numerals, subsidiary seconds, chime/silent and chime selection dials and marked New York, Tiffany & Co., moon's age in arch, detailed female figures flank the glazed waist door, eight-day, time, strike, and dual quarter-chime movement (Westminster/Whittington) marked on the back plate ELITE, Germany, pendulum and three brass-cased weights, ht. 121 in.
