U.S. Model 1842 Percussion Pistol, c. 1852, walnut stock with brass fittings, lock plate marked US/H. ASTON & CO., with the tail of the plate marked MIDDTN/CONN/1852, left side of stock has two cartouche stamps, barrel stamped with proofs and 1852 on barrel tang, lg. 14 1/2 in.

Stock has a few very light dings, steel parts have a light brown patina.
