Two New Hampshire Interiors: Living Room, Enfield, New Hampshire, 1972; and Kitchen Detail, Enfield, New Hampshire, 1972. Both signed and dated "Walker Evans 1972" in pencil on the facing mat l.r. and stamped "Walker Evans" and inscribed in pencil on the reverse of the mount or backing mat. Gelatin silver prints, image sizes 7 x 7 in. (17.7 x 17.7 cm),matted, unframed.
Condition: Kitchen unmounted and with wear and creasing at the corners (outside of the image).

Several small bumps where material was caught under print during mounting in Living Room. In Kitchen Detail, several small digs at top center of image and at u.r. corner outside of image; crimp at center of l.l. quadrant; impressions in each corner of sheet perhaps made from clamp or print holder; overmat is lightly soiled.
