...The U.S. Frigate Constitution Capturing His Britannic Majesty's Frigate Guerriere..., 1813 or later, engraved by Cornelius Tiebout, published by James Webster, Philadelphia. Titled and credited below image within plate, engraving with hand-coloring on paper, 19 1/2 x 26 3/8 (image and title), 21 1/8 x 28 in. (sheet size), framed. Condition: Toned, mat burned, old water stain in u.r. corner of image, laid down on backing board, slight faint impression.
