Mahogany Veneer Inlaid Tea Caddy, England, early 19th century, rectangular box with hinged, canted lid, the top with ellipse reserve inlaid with a basket of flowers, the front with an urn and flower, and a bone escutcheon, the edges bordered with string and geometric inlay, the interior lid inlaid with a diamond with geometric border, two compartments to interior with remnants of foil lining, varnished, (repairs),ht. 5 1/8, wd. 8, dp. 4 5/8 in.

A few places on edges where inlay has been replaced, fairly unobtrusive, one of the interior lids is missing .
