Three Brown-painted Lapped-seam Oval Covered Pantry Storage Boxes, America, 19th century, pine tops and bottoms and bentwood ash sides fastened with lapped fingers, the contents labeled with inscriptions in the paint on the lids, one "Spices," one "Coffee," and one indistinctly inscribed "Ginger," (loss to one finger on one box), ht. to 4 to 4 1/8, dia. 8 1/4 to 8 5/8 in.
The tip of the bottom finger joinery on one box is missing (old loss).
