Yhe cover rim edge has three thin areas of wear/abrasion 3/4 to 1 3/4 in. lg., the cover band has a crack on the end about 4 in. lg.and a fairly tight shrinkage crack across the top, the nails around the bottom have caused expansion cracks in the ash to either side of them, but the joinery remains sturdy.
