Small Blue/Green-painted Oval Covered Box, probably New England, 19th century, pine top and bottom with bent maple sides, the cover and sides joined with opposing fingers fastened with copper tacks, (imperfections),ht. 1 1/2, 3 x 4 1/8 in.

Two slivers of wood loss on box rim under cover, 1/2 and 1/8 in. lg., three old small sliver of surface loss on one end of cover.
