Rustic Carved Pine Chair, New England, probably 19th century, fashioned from a hollowed-out tree stump with plank seat (imperfections),ht. 35 3/4, seat ht. 17 1/2 in.

Provenance: Found by Roger Bacon in New Hampshire.
