Dark Green-painted Slat-back Armchair, possibly eastern Massachusetts, 18th century, with vase- and ring-turning and double stretchers, old green paint, (imperfections),ht. 41 1/2, seat ht. 14 1/4 in.

Provenance: Ex-collection Luke Vincent Lockwood, ex-collection Rhode Island School of Design.
