Dark Blue-painted Slat-back Armed Rocking Chair, probably northern New England, early 19th century, with delicately turned finials, downward sloping arms with scrolled handholds, and bulbous front stretcher, old painted surface with evidence of earlier paint, (imperfections),ht. 44 1/2, seat ht. 16 in.
