Paint-decorated Pine Tall Clock, Riley Whiting, Winchester, Connecticut, early 19th century, the hood with molded swan's neck cresting above a tombstone opening revealing a white-painted and polychrome wooden dial with flowers in the arch and spandrels, on the molded waist and cutout base, original painted decoration in ochre and red, the base centering a spreadwing eagle, ht. 88 3/4 in.
