Richard Marshall Merkin (American, 1938-2009)

Sixteen Assorted Works on Paper, seven copies of The Smile of Garbo, two copies of Was it a cat I saw?, one copy each of Orfeus and Euridichee and How to put on an Amateur Circus, and an unsigned colophon page and one work from 6 epitaphs by J.D. Reed/6 Tombstones by Richard Merkin, others untitled. Most are signed screenprints, sizes to 35 x 40 1/2 in., unframed. Condition: Most with subtle handling creases, some with small tears to margins, some with toning.

Provenance: From the estate of Joan Sonnabend, Boston, Massachusetts.
